Based out of Laguna Beach, CA Hodel McRae has been actively involved in the design and repair of semi-precious stone jewelry for over ten years. During that time she has become an expert in design, wire wrapping, knotting, and other aspects of jewelry repair. She also occasionally teaches classes at The Bead Shop here in Laguna Beach.
During the past few years Hodel has expanded her horizons to include both the mediums of sterling silver and leather in her designs. Her creations often center around the fusion of these different materials which results in unique, one-of-a kind creations unlike anything else you are apt to run across.
She currently displays her work at the Art Show on Main Beach sponsored by the Laguna Beach Craft Guild as well as the award winning Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach, CA.
